The Story
In her black-and-white cartoon world, Betty Boop is the beloved star of ToonTown. But she dreams of an ordinary day where no one knows her name. When she uses Grampy's teleporter invention to escape to the real world, Betty lands at New York Comic Con—only to discover her fame has preceded her! Taking on the alias "Betsy Crampwhiler," Betty befriends superfan Trisha, falls for blue-eyed jazz musician Dwayne, and discovers a world bursting with color. Meanwhile, Grampy and Betty's dog Pudgy follow her to bring her home, and a mayoral candidate becomes an unexpected antagonist.
